AT&T Being Dropped
What will happen to the current AT&T customers as of march 27th? will they just be stuck in limbo or what?

From what I know ATT customers will still have there ATT accounts but the alpha tag on the phone will now display Cingular instead of AT&T Wireless.

Well rumor has it that ATT is going to come back to life provided by ATT landline company. So I really dont know what is going to happen. They might just start force migrating everyone to Cingular after March 27th.

No, the accounts will still be owned by cingular, and we'll still have blue reps running the blue systems, we just won't be able to use the name "AT&T Wireless" anymore.

the ONLY thing thats changing is we are forbidden (strong words) to mention ATT Wireless. Can't have any thing that says it in your store, can't have it on your voicemail, etc. So you'll migrate from Cingular Blue to Cingular Orange instead of from ATT to Cingular, etc.

What is going to happen to my service ???? I live in Pittsburgh and have the GSM National Family Plan $59.99 900 minutes -- I aalso have MMode.
I have not been notified about any changes except about the buyout on Nov 15th. Is there something that I need to do?????

nothing except your bill that you get will not have the ATTW logo on it anymore, only the Cingular logo.
