Harsh words.

Such a fate would be disastrous for AT&T. As an iPhone owner myself, I would quickly switch over to Verizon at that time, my carrier before the iPhone. I can never remember Verizon dropping one of my calls in five years. AT&T, on the other hand, drops my calls regularly. It has enhanced its network noticeably since I got an iPhone last year, but their network still leaves much to be desired.

If you are in a spotty coverage area, then you will drop calls. But I've noticed that if you are in an area where AT&T has solid coverage, you're fine.

Also, if you use 2G you have fewer dropped calls than 3G.

Wow! No dropped calls in five years. Where I live and work, my new company phone (Casio Boulder) drops calls on a daily basis.

All facts. The only thing that is harsh is the network. I said it a few weeks ago. You all bashed me up and down. Now several media outlets are reporting bad network coverage. Slam me all you want now. But I was right.
