Apple to End AT&T iPhone Exclusivity Within a Year?

att_iphoneAnother point worth pulling out from Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster’s recent research note about Apple, this one regarding AT&T’s iPhone-exclusivity deal: Munster doesn’t see it lasting much beyond this year. Apple (AAPL) is slowly transitioning the countries in which it sells the iPhone to a multicarrier model and the United States is at the top of its list.

Thats a bold statement. So one is to believe that around 20 million people will leave att next year.
1. Multi-Line ETF fees
2. Mobile to Mobile calling
3. They were already with at&t before the iphone
4. Network improvements within a year.
I'm sure some will defect and that might actually be a good thing. With less traffic burdening 3g it should probably perform better.
