Verizon cares about there customers so much that they like to nickel and dime them to death!! Can you pay me now?... Good!!

If they do this to regular phones... what would happen if they get the iphone.. they'll go nuts with the prices..

The downside of data...$$$$

I miss the days when all people cared about in cellular phones was voice. And maybe texting. Gosh, I remember when texting was still new and exciting. Now, it ain't nothing special.

I have an unlocked Sonim phone. I use it to talk and text. I did download free ringtones, graphics, and games, but aside from that, I cut off data and now just talk and text. I like my Sonim phone. A lot.

thats good!!! thats smart! yeah i hear you. but i mainly text and do email. so i would need the data. but i mean verizon charging 20 bucks for 75MB, i would NEVER pay 10-20 dollars for anything lower than 100 MB plus AT&T charges 15 for unlimted data for a dumbphone.

THANK GOD IM NOT WITH VERIZON!!!!!

Verizon does nickel and dime their custys to death. AT&T does it too, but they are not as bad as ol Big RED.

Sprint and T-Mobile are cheaper, but you have to climb a telephone pole just to get signal.

lol, and the telephone pole isn't included - that's an extra $5 a month plus surcharges 😁

Those new plans are so confusing! Whatever happened to the unlimited plan? Are you telling me that with Vz you have to have a Vpak AND and data plan? That's two plans for data? With AT&T we get only one unlimited data plan and with that we get data/email/video/MMS etc!

No, the VCast VPak is still 15.00 and is unlimited DATA and V Cast.
90% of people who get a full HTML phone threw us get a data pack. Verizon network always deals with data. All the phone I sell (enV Touch, enV3, etc.) they always get data packs. This won't hurt many people.

I have to agree, VZW's plans just have this creeping featurism feel to it and it takes a hour of graph theory to make sense of any of it.

Kudos to the IT staff that writes the billing software that keeps track of that monstrosity in terms of current and past packages.

Nevertheless, I have to say that the data fees they are wanting are pricey for what they are. Just like text messaging, the mark-up on the services has to be simply outrageous. And this is the type of thing that's going to get the feds crawling around.
