Now that Cingular will have to give back the ATTWS brand, name etc etc...

What will happen to attws.com? I use this site almost everyday to check my mins. I also use it to view & pay my bills every month.

DO NOT GIVE ME THAT BULLSH!T ABOUT FORCING PEOPLE TO MIGRATE.

You would want to talk to customer care reagarding this. I do not know if you will be able to maintain your account online if you do not migrate. Customer Care would be able to answer this question for you.

The reason I come to this site is to get a consensus of info. Everytime I call customer care, I get different answers.

Well the website goes*poof*in may,2005, at that point if you go and want to check your minutes, the only option will be to check via mmode on your phone, if you have a package it will come out of package kb's, if not, then it will cost 3 cents per kb on the mmode.

If policy is followed properly you should not be able to get your minute/date/txt usage through Customer Care. mMode and going online are currently the only available options.

Thats right, no one will tell you ,for legal reasons the only way you are going to have it will be through mmode after may, unless you migrate of course over to cingular, where you check your minutes through your phone, remember you are not being forced to migrate, but we do have the right to limit what you can do on the blue side, and since you don't pay for ocs, we have the right to change or disconitnue it at any time.We are simply limiting that option to mmode only1!!!

So you want a website that is catering to a dead company and that is not profiting Cingular in any way, shape, or form? If the company is so greedy and you are unwilling to change your service to a Cingular phone and plan, honestly, just go away. Companies don't need unreasonable customers like yourself that demand everything under the sun but aren't willing to accomodate the company helping them.

Keep in mind also, that the company doesn't have to tell you how many minutes you have used, it's a privilege that is given to you.

Bravo, bravo 😁 😁 😁

Exactly, just like its a courtesy to sell phones to a customer, since we are selling airtime packages not phones, and that courtesy is over on...

Well then the policy should be changed. They can not force a customer to check their minutes through mmode only. It will end up costing unnecessary time & money. Thats like your bank saying "you have to pay a dollar to find out your available balance."

Well let's see do you pay for online access, that would be no, so unless you pay for it, you have no say in that matter. The fact is we have the right to change or alter anything that you not pay for in any way we wish to, so in this case we a)have the right to take down the site and b) we will allow you have the ability to view, you have to do it through your mmode, and no, again for legal purposes, we can't tell you the minutes, sicne they are a...

And the website is? And mmode too? I THINK NOT. They are just estimates. "Legal purposes" sounds like crap to me. Sounds like the call center managers do not want the reps to get flooded with calls requesting minute usage, so they created a little rule.

Bottom line is that you don't pay for the website, its getting shut down within next 30-60 days, then you either go through the mmode and not have access to it, the choice is yours, you may not like it, but its still a choice.

If you work for cingular... you are a bad rep for them. Your attitude sucks. You could try to put things in a better wording so you dont come off as a prick. Yes i know, you want to be straight forward, but the way you say things makes you out to be the biggest asshole of them all.

Oh you'd rather that i sucked your butt, was all warm and fuzzy and "well sir i'm so sorry you can't view them on the website anymore, but is there anything else i can help you with??" that sounds better, no that sounds more rude- Hold on yeah i'll use that, it sounds nice, but it may do the opposite, thanks matty!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude, get over yourself already, this website isn't customer service, just like you can be a cursing obnoxious customer, reps on here can say things they way they want to. If you can't take some of your own crappy attitude medicine, then stop dishing it out.

Wah wah wah. You can't check your minutes on the website anymore.
