MEdia Net Question
When I ordered my phone, I opted for the MEdia Net Unlimited plan, so that I could get Mobi-TV on my phone. I subsequently found out that the phone that I ordered would not support Mobi-TV. My question is: Since I won't be getting the Mobi-TV feature, do I really need the unlimited MEdia Net plan??? If not, which one do you recommend?

Depends on what you do on your phone, what websites you go too, and how often you use Media Net on your phone. What do you need Media Net for the most?

Mainly to check sports scores, read news stories, and other general things like that. Maybe download an occasional game or ringer....and text messaging (but I have the $4.99/mo text messaging plan for that).

See what usage you have and go from there. 3 MB for $10, 8 MB for $20 or unlim for $25...

Do you really think that is enough? Because I know it can get very expensive at 3 cents per KB. I just don't know how much I actually use in getting my sports scores and reading some news stories....

Well then you can keep your unlimited for a month or so and see how much you are using and then bump it down if you want. 😁

it depends on the complexity of the site... I would say keep the unlimited for a month or so and then check what you use... I am wierd, some months I only use like half a meg and then there are months that I am at like 10 megs, so I am a bad example. 😁

I am the same way. Some months I may rarely touch it all, but others, I may mess with it for a half hour or so each day. So I guess the unlimited is probably a good idea.
