AT&T Strengthens 3G Wireless Coverage in Las Vegas (bullS---)

I have experienced no changes in coverage. I still drop calls, Still get the call fail errors, hearing echos, says it is connected but I can't hear the other person and they can't hear me, (but it rang on their end). What is up? Is AT&T a fallen giant? I was excited to hear that they where launching 850 spectrum, even though I was told it was in place on the 3G side a year ago by a corporate store employees on 11/15/08. I'm really tired of having these issues. Can anyone confirm this?

I haven't noticed any drastic improvements at all. Data speeds aren't improved at all. Absolutly nothing is different now than it was 6 months ago.

850 should simply improve your in-building coverage. You haven't noticed any difference with that?

That's funny. 🤣
Sure they noticed a difference, now they get echos, dropped calls, dead space...in buildings. 🤣 🤣

The only difference is that now the bars will jump from one bar to full bars periodically though out the day. This is so frustrating, as I was writing this I received a phone call and when I answered it, I could not hear the other person and then 10 seconds later dropped call. 👿

Hey, I'm curious how new of a sim card do you have? Supposedly a newer sim card is suppose to help being able to take advantage of recent network enhancements.

I live in Las Vegas, my sim card is probably at least 3-4yrs old, it's an old Cingular 3G sim card. I haven't noticed any differences at all in the past
2.5+ months.

For free? Have you noticed any difference? Are data speeds any better?
You use an Iphone and live here in Las Vegas, right? Which store did you go to?

Yes for free. You have to call customer service and have them note the account. Other wise you will be charged $25 for some reason. It was not an issues for me because I have notes in the account regrading these problems and have dropped calls with reps while on the phone trouble shooting the other line. Apple has even stepped in and called Business care and told them to swap the sim card. As for the issues being resolved? NO, echos still happing. I am suppose to receive a follow up call on monday from tech support to discuss issues after swap. I have been asked to track the echo calls and they said they can track the dropped calls, but also asked me to track those just in case. I am a little frustrated about all of this, but am impressed th...

Wow, what a mess! I guess I'm glad I have a Nokia N95 and not an Iphone!

Well, good luck with your mess.
