Let's Be REAL , All BS aside.
Not all carriers are perfect, carriers will have there issues no matter what. Wireless is not reliable and will not replace your home landline. I came from verizon to at&t because I was displeased with verizon. Why? for one customer service that i have dealt with was horrendous. verizon CS has lack of experience. My bill is always messed up and being over charged. Calls were ok, no different than at&t. I had drop calls with verizon and there were places I did not have signal. Even if I did it would be 1 or 2 bars. 3G everywhere is not true, It fluxuate, its mainly on t...

Thanks, will do!
This whole natural progression of newer technology always has resistence. Primarily from older generations.
at&t's primary objective is to be profitable for its shareholders. So they have to remain competitive to do so. If they don't upgrade their network to 4g and all other carriers do, they will be left in the dust. Why do you think every carrier has network claims at the forefront of their advertisements?
If you look at the cost of data your view is debunked. As speeds and capacity have been getting better the end user cost has actually fallen. The better and faster the services get with 4g the more users will be signing up for data servic...

while I am not a fan of the standard UI on dumbphones, most of my customers absolutely love the fact that they don't have to relearn a phone every time they upgrade, so there are two sides to that coin.
As far as carriers go, your individual results may vary. I use Sprint and Metro PCS and am happy on both. In fact, if the Metro PCS worked in my wife's place of employment I would combine the work and home cells into just Metro. Many people blast both carriers.
Those applications are also the ones that would benefit MORE from faster speeds. And those facebook/myspace/twitter people also typically use youtube a lot more (or slingbox) than business users. Data has the caps it does currently because of multimedia users, not because of business users.
LTE is hardly the peak of data, it's just the next step. And while it will be expensive to roll out LTE, in the end it will be much cheaper.
1. LTE uses the 700mhz band meaning it can travel further and has MUCH better building penetration (meaning fewer towers, especially in rural areas without a lot of heavy users)
2. Data wi...

Anyway, I currently play $30/month for Edge on my Blackberry.
I would pay $50/month for LTE today in my area.
And I could convince my customer of it too 😲
But think about this, most technology you don't know how usefull or unusefull it will be until it gets close to market saturation.
We can't even begin to imagine the capabilities these 4G devices will have until the end of next year, like powerful rich 3D graphics, 1080p HD video recording, and who knows what else.
Plus the effect on the market now that wireles...

Do we want it? Ummmm...hell yes!
Very well said, lol!!!
LTE truly will transform the industry into something magnificent. I mean, who wouldn't want a PC browsing experience and speed on there cell phone????
To the author of this topic, you are absolutely correct when you say that your opinion is that the overall service is better with AT&T Wireless, and you are entitled to that opinion. Now, with that being said, I used to work for AT&T Wireless as customer service over the phone. We would get so many customer upset over so many different things. One of those things was the customer service. I will agree that every carrier has there flaws and you want to go with the carrier that is goin...
