New To The GSM War - Cingular or TMobile
Now that Cingular has service in my area(southeastern Virginia), I have a choice to make. TMobile is available in my area as well. Sprint is not an option(poor customer service) and neither is Verizon(high security deposit and weak signal at my house). TMobile only has a $75 dollar security deposit and has a good signal at my house. Cingular is only asking for a $150 security deposit. I do not have to have a high end phone. I just want one that gets a good signal where I live and has good sound quality. $200 is the most I am willing to spend on a phone and $65 a month is the most I am willing to spend on service. Which carrier can offer me the most in the above price ranges? Which carrier has the best features and best customer servi...

I live in south central Pa and Tmobile sucks big time. I just went with Cingular and I can go places that I couldn't with Tmo. If you know anybody with either service talk with them. I couldn't do that. But now I work with people that have Tmo. and they are always having trouble with their service.

I am biased but I would say go with Cingular. Service is good and plans are decent. Plus you have a 30 day return policy so if you get it and are not happy with it you can bring it back! 🙂
