Probably never, there isn't any plan for this phone to be released from Cingular according to our Sony rep.

Personlly, I see Cingular waiting awhile before it releases any mor PDA devicesor smartphones. With the initial failure of the Treo and the data on the plans being astronomical, data might be placed on hold. The average user still wants a phone to make and receive calls. But as for the new Blackberry, this thing is far more user-friendly and functional.

This phone has been released for AT&T. It is showcased on letstalk.com with AT&T network. Good price ,too.
