I love this part:

The truth probably lies somewhere in between the 2 articles. Of the 2 the RCR article is probably closer to the truth of real life. I live in Texas, and the ATT coverage here and in southern Arkansas (the 2 places that I have experience with reception) is as good or better than VZW. I own a Blackberry Bold, another phone with supposed reception problems and I had trouble dropping calls and the signal jumping back and forth between EDGE and 3G. However, with the latest software update to the phone, all of that has stopped and I have not dropped a call, even in low signal areas. Turns out it really was the phone, not the network. When people call or come in and gripe about reception problems in these same areas, it very often in not the networ...

I was having some issues too with my Bold since Jan (the whole swithing to EDGE stuff, buffering while streaming videos etc) and with the last software update all of these problems are GONE! I was in the "blame AT&T's network" boat for a few months too. That's why I think that most of the 3G network complains come from iPhone users who have fau...

Maybe its caused by interference from their black wireframe glasses that all mac users lovingly sport.
