I'm thinking of getting a Samsung Impression and would like some input and thoughts on the phone. Also would like to know if it comes with the usb cable for pc connection. Any input would be great. Thanks.

I am very impressed with the Impression (pun intended). It gets decent reception, it's 3G speed is good, the screen is outstanding and is pretty easy to use. The phone does have the USB cable in the box, so you can hook it up to your computer to download music, pictures, etc. It works on the $10 or $15 data package or yu can get unlimited data and GPS for $20. If the phone has 1 semi-major design fault, it is the placement of the lock/unlock button. Any time you want to press it, you pretty much have to slide the slider portion of the phone to the right so that you can press it. I have heard reports of early editions of the phone freezing up under hard text use, but nothing lately. Overall, the phone works well and we are selling the dickens...

Thanks for the info. One other question I have is about push email. Does it have it or not. I've gotten both answers from att reps. just wanna know for sure. Thanks.
...
Technically, no, there is no push email through the ATT mobile email application. However, you can turn on a notification alert that lets you know when a new email has arrived. You then can go to your email through the mobile email application.

I second the terrible placement of the unlock/lock button. It is a terrible design.
I'd also look at the solstice. Some OS and smaller device. If your ok with an all touc screen phone you'd like it.

I think it would be so, so awesome if ATT got a version of the Samsung Rogue.
And no, I'm not a Verizon fanboy, so don't you dare acuse me of it.
The Samsung Rogue has a headphone jack. Impression doesn't. Also, I believe the Impression doesn't have an AMOLED screen, Rogue does.
...
Actually, the Impression has a 3.2 AMOLED screen, the Rogue has a 3.1 AMOLED screen. There are adapters to use a headphone on the Impression, though I admit it is a hassle.

So i went ahead with the purchase and its been a day now. So far i love this phone. maybe even more so then i liked my bold, which was what i previously used. i might just be me but i think the internet on the impression is actually faster than the bold. thanks for all the input.
