Question for CORPORATE STORE REPS.....

This question is only directed to Retail Reps at Corporate-owned stores (Jackie, I'm looking in your direction!), not call-center of third-party dealers.

What is the dress-code policy regarding guys with pierced ears?

I'm currently unpierced (letting my old ones heal up) but I've been heavily considering getting pierced with 6-g tunnels or plugs (just one in each lobe).

I'm also considering subimtting my resume to several local Cingular stores and looking for a position there.

How well does the dress-code policy (if any) mesh with my desire for new metal?

Sort of. Last time I posted a question and specified it for Retail Reps, I still got people responding who work at 3rd-parties and call-centers. While I appreciated the willingness to help, the info wasn't what I was looking for and rather irrelevant.

Depends on the management... What I would do is ask at an interview... I know that "normal" piercings are fine, but I don't know about 6 guage piercings though.

The offical policy is that men can have pierced ears as long as they are subdued (another specification is that they aren't below the earlobe on me so either posts or studs). I have a 4g in my reas and my bos (an ex athlete white guy) has two very large diamond studs. Managers have absolutly no discretion as far as implementing policy, only enforcing it (so if your manager or DSM gives you a hard time direct them to the P&P and ask them to point out where you have violated the dress code).
