AT&T Buyout of Alltel
Anyone in this forum know when the vote goes down on the 79 Alltel markets that AT&T is buying from Verizon. I remember hearing that it was some time this month but don't have an actual date...

Who knows. It's the FCC. And when it does happen, it is going to take a while for AT&T to get in and transfer everything. It's going to be about a year.

When...where are the facts to support it?
There is nothing anywhere regarding any of it being approved..FCC, Verizon, or AT&T have said nothing..I looked through all the websites today..

I already knew of this press release. This is the agreement between the two. The FCC and the Dept of Justice have to vote on it now to APPROVE the buyout...I was wondering when that date was for the FCC Vote...I heard that it was sometime this month but not sure when..
