Kinda in the line of the "how in the Hell"'s...
Customer brings in a Motorola v120:
Customer: "my phone dont get reception"
Me: How long have you had that phone?
Customer: about 3yrs now
Me: have you considered buying a new one?
Customer: no, i have been buying minutes (prepaid) for years now, i need a free phone.
Me: well, if you do a 2yr contract you get a free phone.
Customer: ill show you it doesnt work (he proceeds to dial a number, and PRETEND to hit send. He then has a PRETEND conversation w/himself...) "see i told ya that it drops calls"
Me: I thought you said it doesnt get service?
Customer: it dont, and it drops calls...
Me: can i see the phone please? (i look at the dialed calls list and ask him what # he dialed.. Ther...

I work in a downtown area and their is a salvation-army less than a block away. needless to say we get a lot of bums and even better, bums on crack. 😳
"so one time this guy came in totally wasted..." and wanted to fight me over phone service he didn't even have. He kept caulkin back like he was going to swing and I was already thinkin about about a three punch combo to throw back (back then i was playin alot of fightnight on XBOX) 🙂 but I was a good talker and got him calmed down enough to the point that he then proceded to undress and show me scars from Nam. Anyway the police knew him by first name and took him to jail.
