Vacationing in OBX
Anyone familiar with the Outer Banks, or have traveled there with Cingular service. I'm vacationing there a week from today. My current location is Johnson City, TN (zip 37604). Was hoping someone could give me information as to whether or not I will have coverage/signal in that area. My current plan with Cingular is Nation Plan (850 minutes before it changed to 900 minutes) with free roaming and free long distance.
Questions needing info on:
1. Will I have coverage in these areas (Nags Head, Kill Devils Hill, Hatteras, Kitty Hawk, Ocracoke, etc)?
2. Or will I start roaming off another carrier's tower like SunCom?
Just wanting to make sure if I will be able to use my phone without racking up a large bill of roaming charges from...

Nation plan + free roaming = if your in the US and you have signal your not going to pay for it

Oh yeah and enjoy.. The Outerbanks= Beauty... I love it there, and from past experience, you should not have too many issues with the signal. 😁
