I know AT&T will definitely not carry the N97, the closest they got to a N series device was the N75.

The X6 has a capacitive touch screen like the iPhone which is pretty cool. The VU and most other AT&T touchscreens have whats called a resistive touch screen that is nowhere as good.

The iPhone is cool for all of the features and things it can do, but the phone portion of it takes a backseat to everything else.

If you're looking into getting a touchscreen check out the HTC Tilt 2 or the HTC Pure. They both run Windows Mobile as the OS which is good or bad depending on who you ask but the are both high end PDA's.

The Tilt 2 has a physical qwerty to go along with the touchscreen which is a huge plus. Are you using the Curve?

yes the 8310 curve...I was just out of town and couldnt dial out of the hotel and my brother who has the exact same phone could..plus it wont send or receive pic messages which I didnt find out til a year in. I am reading reviews on the iphone now and the reviews on the PUre I dont think were good dont remember on the tilt 2.

AT&T will be releasing the BB Bold 9700 within a few weeks, it doesn't have the touchscreen you're looking for but it will be a great upgrade from your Curve.

The Blackberry touch screen for AT&T is probably at least 6 months out if that. I'm a huge BB fan but I will end up picking up a different device (Sony Ericcson X10 or Nokia X6 I'm talking about you) before I wait for the new qwerty w/ a touch screen BB comes out.

Do we know when to expect the Nokia X6...did the article say 11/16? And that may not be the US. Thinking about a biz line with TMo and the g1 or the BB8520.

What are your top 5 priorities for a phone? Lemme give you an example of what mine are for my next phone...

5+ Megapixel camera
High resolution screen
Capacitive touch screen if I get a touch screen
Physical qwerty keyboard
Either BB, Symbian or Android operating system

I really just want a qwerty board and a capacitive touch screen. The BB OS is fine I have not experienced the Android. The camera doesnt really make a dif. to me. I have just had the best performance of Nokia that is why I am stuck on them...
