I am planning on purchasing a Blackberry 8520 (full retail) on Amazon. I'm hoping to activate it on my Att plan and go on a month to month contract. I'm pretty sure this can be done.

Quick question though...
The after rebate price on a two year contract more than pays for the difference in price between the outright cost and the termination fee if you canceled under contract. Why are you considering the outright option??
