Bluetooth Headset Catastrophe!!!! Please Help Me!!!!!

SForsyth01

Ok, So it isn't a major catastrophe, but I am getting very frustrated. 😈 😈 😈

I originally bought the Jabra FreeSpeak 250, and I had alot of problems with static through the headset when I had it paired with my Nokia 6230 and the phone was in my pocket.

So....I exchanged that for the Plantronics M2500. While the static was reduced somewhat, it was still there and this one falls off of my ear when I am walking around or if I move my head at all. Jackie tested this one for me before I bought it and said that she had no static problems with it paired with her 6230. However, I did experience some static problems with it.

So....I have decided that I need to get a different one, I think. This gets me to my...

YEs YEs Yes and yes Shawn.. You can exchange the phone in store as long as you are with in your 30 days. Two the headset thing we talked about yesterday. I use the 810 motorola and it works out for me... But I am soooooo sorry you are having issues. ☚ī¸ đŸ˜ĸ ☚ī¸

It is not your fault that I am having issues....Like I told you yesterday, I am EXTREMELY thankful I have someone like you to rely on for this kind of stuff. I just feel bad that I am being a pain in your butt.

I guess I was just wondering if I should have them exchange the phone and try the Jabra one again. Cause that one was very comfortable and had amazing battery life. Or if I should just go with the 810....I don't know....I'm just really frustrated and confused... 😕 😕 😕

You are not a pain in my butt... 😉 And don't be, you liked the 850 before and the 810 is almost the same, hun... Just breathe in with the nose out with the mouth, and you will be fine! 😁

Yes....I tend to feel better after I vent my frustrations....that's all.

So, after talking to you on the phone (thanks for taking the time to call me, by the way), the only thing we didn't cover is this: Should I go back to the jabra (I liked how that one felt, it was comfortable) or just get the 810 once I exchange my phone?

now ya know...I wish I had customers like this. I actually enjoy the ones who think they're being a pain when they've just got legitimate issues. They're easy to get along with and are patient with you as you discern their actual problem and find a solution.

I try not to take my frustrations out on ANY store representative, whether it is cell phones, or anything else. I am simply thankful that they take the time to help me.

I worked in retail at one time, so I have a very good understanding that it is not the employee's fault that there is a problem. The only time I EVER escalate a situation with a representative is if it is blatantly obvious to me that the employee is not attempting to help me at all.

But as far as Jackie is concerned, she has gone way above the call of duty with me. I made my purchase on the web, and she has helped me out as if she made the initial sale. She has been simply amazing to deal with. I never expected ANYONE to be as willing to help me as she has been. S...

😎 The Motorola HS810 is an excellant device, have you tried one of those? I have one with absolutely no static and crystal clear sound. Now if I could just find the lil SOB 😈

I had the 850 when I had the V710 phone with VZW. I really liked it, but I didn't even pay the $99.99 price for it, so that is what is bugging me about the 810. But I will probably end up getting the 810 anyway.

Yes but you don't have the ability to comprehend it. To those that do, know that Sony BT headsets are unmatched in clarity and audio quality.

um.... I had the akono HBH-660 from sony and dude, I hated the sound of that headset, I used it with my p910 and it had the worst battery life and it always fell of my ear. Saying "in my opinion" before stating things like that they have unmatched clarity and audio quality would be a better way to say it 🙂

Ok IMO. Is that better? The 660 is what i have as well as Moto 810 and 820, and also one by Logitech. The Sony is the best. Fits the best also. Talked 4 straight hours one night so no complaints about battery. To each his own our guess.

Battery time... Tested the Jabra states 8 hours (which I think is BS to be honest) and the 810 is stated at 5 hours (which in actuality is about 3.5)... That and the size difference... That's it though, Shawn. 😁

Hey dude, sorry you're having so much trouble with the BT issue, It can be pretty frustrating at times. I use a Nokia headset now with my 6230 and I love it. but it's all gonna boil down to what you like. Hope you have better luck 😁

Jackie has really helped me alot. We have come to the conclusion that it is a phone problem, not actually a headset problem. So I will be exchanging the phone tonight for another 6230. Hopefully that will fix the problem.

I am also going to exchange the Plantronics headset (since it won't stay on my ear) for either the Jabra or the Moto 810. Just not sure which yet.

The moto 810 has an earhook that in the majority of my customers seems to fit better than the Jabra, in my opinion, the moto is also way more comfortable. The Jabra has the same fitting style as the Plantronics, so if that was an issue I wouldnt waste my time with the Jabra
