As you guys read my other forums I'm new to the USA area (Texas) from calgary. I have purchased and tried out Verizon, AT&T and T-mobile. My first choice was verizon, had them for 30 days as well as AT&T and T-mobile.

Verizon- I had to exchange my phone 3 times, 2 Storm 2's and my final phone driod eris. My coverage was not as great I would always get 1-2 bars and my internet was always on 1X only when going outside ill get the 3G icon. I would lose calls in my home or drop calls i counted about 4-5 a day. Traveling was pretty good when i went to houston and Austin, specially on the highways and outside. But my calls were clear and stayed connected.

I went with AT&T, cause there GSM and most of their 3G bands works with other carriers and phones. There unlockable, and if i need to go home to canada, then i can unlock my phone to work in canada cause they use the same frequency. I have really good net speeds and coverage where I live and in my area. And i got the iphone, when i was in rodger canada i had the iphone then and now i got the iphone for AT&T and sent my canada one back to canada for my little cousin.

I hope i dont get any hate messages for what i chose. it works for me.

That pretty much sums it up, all carriers have there faults. But in the end it's what works for YOU! 😎

I work for VZW Tech Support and I will get calls from people who want to cancel service because they cant get service inside their home. I try to tell them that no carrier whether VZW, ATT, Tmo, or Sprint can guarantee service indoors. Too many things go into gettin service indoors. Line of site interference, distance from Tower, or even the floor you are on.

If AT&T worked best for you then go for it. In your particular area they maybe what works best for you. However I have also had customer who have left...

I've beeen with ATT for 8yrs, and my service works just fine indoors. I've lived both upstairs, and downstairs in the past couple years. But the indoors issue should be a thing of the past once Verizon implements their 700mhz spectrum, and then once upon a time when ATT actually wakes up and starts working on their nexgen network.
