Just got an email from my manager, I guess Cingular is getting the LG 7200 with PTT from kodiak. I don't know about anyone else, but all i need is one more person coming into my store asking, got them bloop-bloop phones." I think cingular should focus more on rolling UMTS and leave the walkie-talkie's to nextel.

I love it when a customer calls in and are having an issue with their phone and i ask what type of phone is having the problem. They respond with "A flip phone" I always have to put the cust on mute and have a little chuckle. Wish I was alowed to offer sarcasim 😁

what does anyone think about PTT? I'm not so sure how well it will do. Nextel has the niche market pretty well covered, personaly ithink there voice quality is not that great. Last i heard about verizon and alltel there PPT wasn't doing to hot. Maybe the GSM version of PTT will really good. I guess it's like anything only time will tell.
