So rumors out that Verizon is changing up their voice plan/data pricing - how long until ATT follows suit - I give it a week tops 😁

Why so long. The only change they need to make is matching VZWs prices on the Unlimited offerings.

If verizon's numbers don't tank from the new 3g change, you can get they'll consider that one aswell.. though seeing them try to push that and their "hey, we'll give you edge coverage" adds at the same time would be amusing

Thats if those are the only changes... VZ changing top options most likely means VZ changing lower options.

If VZ New Plan + Data = Old Plan w/o data, everyone wins (no more "oops I hit the internet button" charges)

Also... changing options isn't just waving a wand and saying "Make it so". What about all the flyers? Website? Sales software? Sales software for non-AT&T authorized agents?

Changes possibly this big don't happen in a weekend. Although, just like Fav-5, A-List, Friends & Family... you know AT&T will follow suit in some fasion.

It broke early. things have to speed up. I feel REALLY bad for Verizon reps atm just because a lot of them weren't getting training on this until Saturday, so they'll have to answer a lot of questions they don't know the answers to yet.

The operative word being...yet. Let's hope VZW is not successful in this mandatory data scam or AT&T may follow their example.

ATT has already followed somewhat - they are requiring $20 in data/messaging features on all phones they consider "quick messaging" phones, which is basically everything but the most basic of phones. The only thing they didn't copy from Verizon, is raising the data prices themselves.

Yea but the system does not flag those IMEI's and automatically add features to those. It is still a choice even though it says you need to add those. If you dont, the phone is just slightly more expensive, 20 bucks in my store.
