I've never really known what it is, and CSP doesnt help. Can anyone give me the basics of it and explain the charges. This should also help some customers.

Thanks

Its basically a text message someone gets that they signed up for could be once a month could be once a day. Its an outside company like the ringtones and things like that.

its typically something like people have said associated w/ ringtones but its not limited to that (JAMSTER for one does this), but if you have a joke sent to your phone daily, etc, that would fall under the category of "premium messaging"

...how does a rep find out who the text is from. How do I tell the customer what service their kid subscribed to? It doesnt show on their bill or in Direct Bill. At least Jamster ringtones will show up.

i agreed, I (as a customer) am clearly told to do so per my invoicing, i would never call and ask such a trivial question when my bill clearly directs me to a site in which to view said charges

There isnt a name for it that I know of. Actually its the same login as either infospace or openwave. So I think its just another part of that. It just gives more information.
