Text Now App.....how does it REALLY work??????
My wife and I have the iphone 3gs and we downloaded the "TextNow" app that allows us to txt for 8bucks to anyone on any network. We fill that we'll be able to cancel our $30 txt plan because of it.
Am I correct in my thinking? Or, will it work without our att txt plan?

I just looked up this app and yes, according to what I read in the description, it will work with out a text plan as long as u keep the data package (which is required on the iphone anyways). It uses the internet signal to send and recieve texts instead of the phone signal. Hope this helps a little.
