In a world that is perfect, All customers get exactly what they want without any headaches.

In a perfect world, All service reps have perfect customers which never want more than what is offered.

WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD

Customers: Companies are like @$$holes... Everyone has one.

While I do not agree with everything that is said here, I still keep in mind that this forum does not represent the Company. If a rep wants to complain about Customer XYZ & how they were stupid, the have every right. I know it is their job to take the abuse, but they don't have to bottle it up inside. This forum is a place to vent.

Reps: You are not God. Instructing customers to be a certai...

Addendum to above:

There will always be a self appointed arbiter of any internet message board who, rather than ignoring any thread or message they don't want to deal with will instead post a completely new thread decrying in the strongest terms the very thing they find so objectionable, which will almost always include a complaint regarding waste of bandwidth and explaining at length the utter futility of attempting to change human behavior, and there will then be many responses telling said arbiter where to put it, usually with impassioned references to the First Amendment. The sheer irony of the original post, being a complaint on an internet forum decrying the use of internet forums to complain on, will usually not be noticed by the ...

Aleq,

While I do respect & understand where you are coming from with your reply, I feel that your post was a personal slam to me. The reason I posted the thread is that sometimes it can be a pain to dig for real info. I dont care if people want to have their little spats, flame wars or pissing contests, but when its the same arguement over & over. It gets boring. This is known as "Same sh!t, Different smell".

Who wants to swim through the crap for resources?

My point is that this IS the internet. Wading through dross to find the gold is an integral part of the whole experience. If it were different, Google would not have come smoking out of the box with a bullet when they went public. There is zero point in complaining about it, and making posts complaining about the futility of complaining just adds a recursive layer on top of the whole shebang that is guaranteed to cause a headache. If you see a thread is not in any way related to something you're interested in, or that one which initially appears promising gets hijacked, stop reading the posts and go on. If you really want info on a specific subject, start a thread for it and ignore anything off topic. Starting irrelevant threads decryi...

This seems to be more of a feedback forum than a technical/help/info forum.

I am beginning to think the same. No matter what someone says, someone has some sort of feedback. And they LOVE to treat other list sh!t here. The phonescoop motto should be "Lets See Who We Can Belittle & Disparage Today!" or "Phonescoop.com- For When You Haven't Been Sh!t On Enough"

Well then. That's it! I'm going back to posting about the latest speeds of the HSDPA tests or how I can unlock a European phone.

Personally I'd like to thank all the flamers and fighters for their posts, it gives me something to read and chuckle at between customers. Y'all keep up the good work!
