switching phones, need help about DATA!
soo i have my blackberry data but my phone broke so i was given a iphone from a friend..what do i have to do with tha data plans.. need help please, thanks.

Is there gona b an extra charge?!? And r they goin to take out the bb plan and replace it to tha iphone data plan? Or will they keep tha bb plan and include tha iphone data plan on top of it?! Thanks.

No the data plans are the same price. It will look strange on your next bill, because you will have part of the month on the BB plan and part on the iPhone plan and everything will be prorated. But it ought to work out about the same on the bill.
Another reminder is that in order to activate the iPhone, you will need to hook it up to a computer and log on to itunes.

The BlackBerry dataq plan should be deleted and replaced with the iPhone plan. Costs of the data plans are similar. You cannot have a BlackBerry data plan on an iPhone nor an iPhone data plan on a BlackBerry. Just not compatible (sort of an oil and water thing - they don't mix)!
If you end up getting a new BlackBerry, just change the plan back to the BlackBerry plan. There are no penalties for changing plans.

yes. my wife was in the same scenario two weeks ago. switched to new iphone, no issues. just called into cs and had them switch new imei and iphone data plan. 🙂
