To all the whinning former ATT CSRs...........Quit!

ATT had terrible CS..yet I stayed with them. I was OVERJOYED at Cingualar buying them out and switched to Cingular before the merger.

You ATT CSRs represent the terrible CS ATT had with all your whinning in the name of Customer Service. YOu make me laugh with your thinly veiled customer first attitude.

You had the worst Customer Service as ATT Wireless.Why if it was a bed of roses before the merger?

The Orange side CS is MUCH better. Despite your dyer predictions Cingular is adding more customers then Verizon and will continue to do so .....I can only hope speaking as a satisfied customer and former long time ATT customer the disheveled whinners of former ATT are the ones who get layed off FIRST or quit.

Cingular will do ...

You know what the funny part is..........everyone states that Cingular Customer Service is better than ATT Customer Service, but do you even realize that all the ATT reps are now the very same reps that you are speaking with when you call Cingular. I hope I get a call where the customer tells me I am giving better service than when there were with ATT because I will just laugh as I tell them that I am the same rep 🤣

People act different under different leadership. Business 101. Different targets. Different culture. Cingular service is most definately better regardless of who worked where.

When I first called CS using my Cingular phone I got the ATT side. now I get Cingular. There was a huge difference in attitude. I chalked that up to change which nobody likes. I am sue ATT reps were and are unsettled. Those who adapt and accept those changes will be fine. Those who don't will be gone. But not after they do some damage.

I expect the churn rate to go up at Cingular but the new ads will make up for it. Long term Cingular has the makings of a great Carrier to be with. Short term there will be glitches and malcontents.

I love it, cuz Cingular has the cahones to do what ATT never did, and that is put the customer into place, customers who were with att, used to call in demand free stuff, re-rates whenver they want it, and other stuff, in the name of loyalty.And cingular has put their foot down and finally say"look" be a responsible person" cuz the free ride is over.

Now a rep(blue) has acredit limit of $250.00, a Supervisor/TL has limit of $400.00, and anything over that requires a Manager approval.The gravy train ended.And FYI, ANY blue customer in the western states, like as a example CA, OR, AZ, among other western states cannot migrate unless you have less then 3 months remaining on your 2 year contract, or 1 left on 1 year contract, otherwise you ca...
