Thank you for replied, I am just wondering that does POS II have any feature to find out the customers have been using Cingular & ATT before or not?? 😢

Is it for a new activation, or for a migration?

🙂 Thank you for the help, actually I am talking about new activation for customer, but how to know if they have been using Cingular service before within 180 days.

Only if they are current customers. A deactivated account can't be looked up, at least with my clearances. There also isn't a search tool, you have to have pcs# and last 4 of ssn or billing zip. Pos.II is much better then it used to be, but Id still give anything to have Tellegence

Please keep employee-related topics confined to the Shop Talk forum.

Thanks! 🙂

Just out of curiousity, if this is a Cingular forum, how is Cingular employee talk off topic? (Not trying to argue it, just wondering.) 🙂

Because that's what the Shop Talk forum was created for. 😉

Agreed, but some reps are blocked from the general section by their site's IT department. So they can get into the CW or CW/AWS forum, but cannot get into the Shop Talk or Lounge forums... 🤭

But what are the reps supposed to do that can't access anything but the carrier forums from work?

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but it is a problem.

Don't know how it is for anyone else, but for our proxy servers it appears that anything that comes up as https://www.phonescoop.com/carriers/ is legal, but if it's https://www.phonescoop.com/forums/ it gets kicked out.

Not that I would ever try to circumvent these oh-so-reasonable restrictions or anything... 🙄
