The next phone to be released?
After reviewing the Phone Finder section here at phonescoop, there really aren't many good phones coming in the near future to Cingular.
The main models expected seem to be the Motorola v635 and Samsung p207, both of which seem to be most anticipated. Rumor has it that the Motorola v635 is coming sometime around the first week of May.
Technologically speaking, the Samsung p207 looks like a very interesting phone, pioneering in a ground-breaking phone feature, which is speech-to-text technology. Anyone know when this Samsung might be coming, or what phone might be released to Cingular next?

The only phone i know of besides what you named is the Nokia 3220. That was supposed to be launched in April, but i think its prolly gonna be held till summer. 😕

I am hearing about the MPX coming out and the 5600 that used to be sold by AT&T. I have been told that there are going to be more windows mobile devices the simens sx66 pocket pc ahs been a huge hit. The mpx 220 was big hit but it never worked right. the samsung p207 will not be out till may.

I don't think we'll see the MPX at all, but I can guarentee you we will see the 5600, I show they are on order and have a few in stock. Hopefully we will start to see sneek peaks of UMTS and HSDPA pretty soon. Any word on Cingular jumping straight to HSDPA?

They are toying with the MPX it might be an MPx 300 or something like that. It will probly be EDGE capable but they want to do something with motorola on the MPX. I heard that this summer u will hear about some test markets for the end of this year on HSPDA. No word on where yet
