Is this typical or did I just get lucky?
When I first signed with Cingular I got the Sony Ericsson T637 for 19.99. I was on www.cingular.com looking around and I stumbled upon a rebate for the T637, but it was only valid if you payed $119 for it.
Well, I decided to print it out, fill it out and send it in for the hell of it. And to my surprise, they sent me a rebate check for it.
Not that im complaining, I'm really happy about it! 😁 Making money for buying a phone is always sweet.

It wasnt supposed to happen before the rebate form specified the price of the T637 as $119. Not if you payed $19.99 like I did.

Don't be surprised if it show up on an invoice like six to eight months down the line. Believe me, I saw something similar when I work for them.

The phone worked great for me, for an entry level phone it has an assload of cool and useful features (for me at least). It's a good size too, not big but not too small, fits good in the hand.
Maybe it's just me, but when holding it up to my ear it would sorta make my ear ache cause of its square-ness. Other than that, no complaints!
I don't use the T637 anymore though, I bought a S710a, LOVE IT! Sony Ericsson is pure genius IMO!

You better be careful with that. If I heard correctly, Cingular is gonna try to get that money back. I think that they send a big 800lb orange gorrilla wearing a blue and orange hat. He's supposed to grab you by the ankles and shake the money loose. Either that or they take it as a loss. I can't remeber exactly.
