was wondering if cingular had cellular service in big bear california?
Im heading up to big bear california and was wondering if cingular had service up in that part of california or not.

It's spotty along HWY 18, south of the lake is real good along 18. AWS towers make it a lot better in the area.

Yes some phones do pick up signals better than others. For me in my area nokias get stronger signals than Motorolla phones.

yeah, and someone is likely to pound me for this, but I personally think that bar phones (like most nokia and sony-ericsson phones) tend to get better reception than flip phones.
