I remember seeing some awards show awhile back, like the Oscars or something, where one of the items they gave away to celebs was a black RAZR, when are they going to start selling that phone to all us lowly taxpaying citizens? Anyone know anything about it?

already do.... go to ACS's web site. cingular wont sell them directly you have to order them un-locked but they run about 700.00

T-Mobile UK has it FREE if you sign up with them. As for it coming stateside, I have only seen it via ebay, and they are imported, unlocked, and unbranded.
My Moto rep said that Cingular has plans to carry many colors of the RAZR, but will be the ens of summer before it arrives.
I wonder if the celebs are actually using their phones? If I got 3 months of complementary service, I know I would. Of course, I'm sure that they are too worried about punting it off for cash.

I dont know if you were laughing at the fact that those people may have cingular accounts, but if you were then yea, they may. There are alot of famous people that have Cingular accounts. Blackberry seems to be the main reason.
