ATTWS...BURN!!!!!!

I switch to Cingular to get away from the menagerie that is ATTWS. I had to use the BBB to get away from them.

When I activated my service, I put down a $200 deposit on the account. I canceled my service on 3/25/05. Upon canceling, i put in an NWRS for my refund. I was told to call in this week to check the status of the NWRS. Come to find out... THE NWRS WAS CANCELLED. The rep who put it in failed to tell me that my account must be canceled for 60 days before I can even FILE for the refund.

Now I was told (by Tim tt5005, who works in receivables managements) that I must wait the 60 days from the cancellation date to even file the form. Then I have to call back in to file the form and WAIT AN ADDITIONAL 60 DAYS FOR THE NWRS TO PROCES...

I am sorry.... â˜šī¸ I have never heard of that, maybe it was an AT&T policy? 😕

Yeah, it was an ATTWS policy... and a crappy one at that. I want my money back...

Its also for the delayed billing. When a custumer roams on another carriers towers, that carrier has between 45-60 days to report so those min can be applied to account.
