Speed is useless with data caps cause speed enables video which is data intensive, but if there are evil data caps video will make you reach that data cap fast, which makes speed useless cause you can't use it for data intensive applications.
And don't give me this crap Clear has more spectrum and so on, ATT has lots, and lots of spectrum, the father of the cellphone Martin Cooper said so himself, I guess ATT is either too cheap, or inefficient with their network.

I'm really not impressed with Vzn's 3G, and btw it does go down to 1x sometimes, so Vzn's 3G isn't as supior as they claim it to be.
Anyway, nobody on PS seems to understand how I feel, speed is useless because speed is most beneficial for data intensive applications, such as video, but if there's a data cap, then yhou won't be able to use the speed for much.

Most people get it just hasn't affected them yet, just wait until tiered data hits verizon it will be a **** storm. Check out ATT on facebook ppl their are pissed! Sprint and Clear have it right, but still that is no guarantee they will not eventually cap data too. I've been using clear as my only isp for 8 months now and love it. i use it at home and on the go getting rid of comcast was glorious.

Clear will cap as well once their subscriber base is high enough.
They cant cap now because they have to overcome lack of coverage. My clear modem works maybe 50% of the time I need to use it.

Don't assume that that because we don't care, that we don't understand.
Your arguments are not well thought out or presented.
You're saying that because you can't run the most bandwidth intensive apps 24/7 that this somehow makes a data plan useless.
That's a pretty ignorant position to take, as there are a lot of people who use a lot of data - like me - that never bother with video on their phone.
Are the new plans a hot or a miss?
Time will tell.
