it is being caused by STP link congestion. there were some changes done last nite which caused an unforseen increase in jump utilization. we are working to back out these changes to restore service. no etr.

We are now starting to see progress with this issue. As of about 3:13 PM EST. The VLR on Tritons MSC is starting to fill up with registrations again and calls are now completing. They are still working on slowly bring up more capacity to reduce signaling congestion. The situation is still being monitored.

that sounds like a tower issue plus a gsm/tdma issue as well as the merger issue. do you agree?
