Incoming texts are not free yet!!!!!!!!

I would advise not to hold your breath... 😕 Most carriers don't offer that, so Cingular wouldn't need to offer it to stay competitive. They have their exclusive feature already...roll over.
Most carriers don't offer that???? While I agree that most don't offer free incoming text, I must tell you that VZW just came out with Unlimited "in network" texting for $5.00/month. In my opinion, Cingular needs to do something to keep up with that offer.
Or at least lower the cost. $0.10 per incoming TM is nuts when Verizons is $0.02 per incoming!

Cingular does not have to do anything to "keep up" with Verizon...Cingular passed Verizon.
Verizon is now doing everything to keep up with Cingular now.
ATTWS was the only provider to give their customers free unlimited Incoming TM. You didn't even need a feature to get it.
It was one of the perks of being with ATTWS. And I suspect that its 1 reason why ATTWS was losing $$$ and is now out of business 😲
Rephrase then: ATTWS is the only National Carrier to provide free unlimited Incoming TM 😁

i work in retail a former blue legacy store.....the former at&t wireless customers that still have their at&t plans with text on there get it for free......no cingular customer gets free incoming yet....retail would have been notified first...and if that was the case id be selling the hell out of text packages....but as of now nooooooo incoming text messages for cingular are free
Thats just it, its not something customer care has access to either this is an ad with a specific 1-800 number they have to call.
