You do something like this....

Goto walmart.com and find a song you like. They will let you listen to it....you have to click it to open it. Instead of left clicking the link... right click it and choose copy target. Then just paste the target in an email and send it to your phone. (Everyphone has it's own email address ex [email protected]) Then just choose goto link when you get the text message. It will downoad the mp3 to your phone.

If you don't have some kind of media package that covers downloads you WILL get charged for the data transfer. Don't forget that.

I would be careful how much you talk about this in an open forum where a bunch of cingular employees come to. Not all of them, but some of them love there job too much and would end up putting a stop to it. Because believe it or not it falls into the whole copyright infringement law blah blah blah. Plus companies don't like their customers finding out how to do something for free.

Pirate at your own risk. 🙂

FYI, most reps don't care but will not be sympathetic if it ceases.

Me being one of those reps that doesn't really care. I'm all for getting something for free if you can, because i don't see stan sharing the big money with me! 😈

Either way, i'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to make it where the mp3 file extensions can only be downloaded from the cingular/infospace domain. so you better take while you can.
