try this one Action
1 Power on the phone.
2 Type in #00001#* SEND.

Result: NAM Prog will appear.

3 Select * (YES) for NAM programming.
4 Enter the 6-digit security code (000000).
Result: The ESN will appear.

5 Press the SEND button.
6 Enter the 10-digit mobile number.
7 Press the SEND button again.
Result: The phone automatically powers off and then powers back on.

8 Press RCL and # to verify the mobile number in the phone.
9 Place a test call.

We tried that. My manager found it in CSP and it didnt work either. When I told the tech rep the one from CSP wasn't working he basically said oh well. Told me that CSP IS correct and the customer is just going to have to go to a store.

My manager was tech on the blue side. She knows how but for some reason nothing we found worked. The tech rep was not someone from our center because he didnt even ask for name or id. He didn't do anything he was supposed to.

if you "quickly" type #program# [send] it will ask for a security code, default is six zeros. If you don't do it quick enough it will call the number you dialed instead of asking for a security code. So in numbers it's #7764726# That will give you access to all of the programming.

I've programmed no less then 100 of the v60 variations. #7764726# [send] Or it may have been * instead of #... the fingers know it better than the brain does. It opens up all of the programming.

Well the only answer to that is not everyone knows everything. I never assume those tech guys know everything, I just expect them to have the manuals at hand. Older phones with older manuals aren't expected, but it shows that you can't put a price on experience.

Yeah I know. Im not trying to imply he should have. But more help then "if its not working from csp send him to a store" I understand he may not have known that but that is all he said to me, never asked what I was trying, nothing. There has got to be something he could have done, like verify I was doing the right thing.

Well if he doesn't know anything then he's really useless to you. Anything he could've said would've just been wasting your time even more. 🙂 It does show a hole in Tech Support that should be fixed...
