XBM Question
Here's a good one--if a knucklehead customer has to replace their phone through XBM, and they fail to follow instructions from the XBM rep and send the back of the phone and the battery into XBM (even though XBM only sends out the phone body itself--duh), is there any way for the customer to get a new back and battery for the phone from XBM? The customer we had that did this says XBM told her she would just have to keep checking with stores in her area to see if they had any parts available. Huh?? Suggestions and chuckles appreciatively accepted.

The funny part is that the phone is a RAZR phone. Not cheap. How do you send parts back that you didn't receive with the replacement?? I used to run into this constantly when I worked computer tech and customers had to send their computer back, they would send CD's, power cords, all kinds of stuff they weren't supposed to send, and then they would complain about not receiving those items in return. But at least there they had the excuse of having to send the defective item in in advance. Here, she received the replacement in advance. Makes me just scratch my head and say "wow".

As far as I know, they can't. Unless someone in XBM feels extremly nice that day. Did they have insurance on the account?
