Things to DEF call CS about....

Shayby

1) Enter PUK code. (this is not the same as your sim card number, childs birthday, etc.)

2) Lost/stolen phone. (you are responsible for any charges incurred until you report the phone lost/stolen to CINGULAR)

3) Add/remove features from account (this goes for rate plans too)

4) Troubleshooting the phone. (please dont think you can do this on your own then get mad at me because something is no longer working)

5) You read One of "you know who's posts" and actually believe him.

Thanks for reading. 🙂

If your phone is emitting sparks, or leaking a stinky black goo, it's a good bet you're going to needs customer care.

However, do NOT, unlike my last customer, call in on your malfunctioning mobile phone. This is what he sounded like: "Muh foh nuh wukkin, Ahm trahn caw ow ani sedlah caw fowfih oh sumfin'..." Oh, and while we're on the wish list here, SPIT OUT THE GRITS BEFORE ATTEMPTING COMMUNICATION! Sheesh... 🙄

Which leads me to number

Ah yes, and let's not forget: Please do not either SCREAM AS LOUD AS YOU CAN into the phone, likewise do not bury the phone in your cheek and mutter as though you were trying not to let the warden hear you discussing escape plans. It just makes it difficult for us to communicate with you, and if you get cheesed off because we ask you to repeat yourself, please at least consider that it might be YOU who is unintelligible, rather than us being deaf, thanks so much...

Ack, tell me about it! The last thing I need when I'm calming down a pissy customer is to have them hear every detail of YOUR escalated call that you aren't handling NEARLY as well as I'm handling mine! Any customer care rep who's yelling at a customer has already lost... get a grip, get professional, and stop shouting at your customer! They're all annoying, we all have to deal with them, don't make the rest of us listen to how badly you do your job... (Whoa, speaking of Blinking Red Buttons(tm)!)
