Revised May handset pricing

Iselltheshitoutofphones

Just got word today that the Motorola V3 is now down to $199 on a 2yr, with no MIR.This is based on the new 5-8 to 5-31 May pricing sheet. So that makes the V3 $299 w no commitment?!? Can any other markets confirm the price drop?

The P207 is going up to $199?!?

V3 is still listed in my system at the $299.99 2 year commitment pricing. the P207 is still listed as an online offer handset only, we are not able to sell it here at the telesales.

that's just for us, i'll keep my eyes peeled for any new e-mails they may send us.

Most likely the handset will not move to a lower price point like $199 until late May or June. Too many stores have handsets at the old higher cost.

Luckily for me ALL my V3 handsets are at the new lower cost. I am going to start the V3 at $199 for my Grand Opening special :-).

be on the look out for scammers activating mutiple lines of service and canceling them. Then you 199.99 phones will end up on ebay for 399.99...Happens all the time. I hope you have a good seconday agreement in place. If you need a good one email me and I will send you the one I used for all my stores.

Will,

The agreement we used at Go Wireless has the same legal effect as the one this guy uses. No need for a long document to frighten customers. Remember, the key is you need to capture the CC imprint or voided check (if you have them do a draft agreement).

Thanks because April 15th I had to get a new phone and I got the 6230. It has been acting up and I would like to exchange it for the 6230i. Please post when you find out. Thanks

I do not believe that the 6230i will be out for a little while. I wouldn't hold your breath, but that's just me ☚ī¸

Good point. It may very well not be out within your 30 day exchange policy (I assume where you bought the phone offers that policy). You may be cutting it too close.

Yeah I got an email earlier today stating that the RAZR will drop to 199.99 with 2 year. 299 no commitment. Effective May 8. Wonder why?

i think they're hoping it will be covered by insurance since one of the biggest customer complaints is the fact that the RAZR is made of aluminum foil and breaks if you sneeze too hard on it. since Lockline hasn't really gotten back to us on when the higher priced items will be covered, we'll just have to keep lowering the prices in hopes that they will be.

that and when it comes right down to it, the RAZR just isn't as amazing as Motorola originally thought it was.

I just got an e-mail two days ago that stated the V3's agent cost would be dropping b/c the price is being lowered to $199.99 w/2yr commitment as of May 8th. So....Confirmed in the DCS market.

We rarely send phones out through Customer Service because the customers don't like the idea of an $18 upgrade fee AND a $14.95 S/H fee. So they usually go to a store.

Caleb,

I hope you are in good form today for obvious reasons. I sent you a text yesterday? I see you are too good or too busy to reply! 😛

What is the agent cost of the RAZR now? If it sells for $199 on a 2 yr, then it has to be in the $250 range.

Treo 650? Very nice! It's a little too much for me, but a nice device indeed.

For your B-day I wish you a day full of B class, 3 feature a piece, all new activations!

Will
