But the number was actually give to me by an ATT Regional Manager. See that is the backdoor number into the OKC call center.
That number has been passed around soooo many times it's redicilous. So I figureed I would share it with all my friends at phonescoop =)

An emergency number is only to be used in emergency use only, like 911.You givving out that number is gonna 2 things, piss customers off who call there since its only an emergency use for like lost opr steon phones, and then giving out the number to everyone os gonna have them change that number and no one will get it, and then everyone wil...

I have called that number NUMEROUS times as a dealer to change rate plans, ask questions, etc...
So it's a full blown CS number not an "emergency number".
How can it be an emergency number when no one knows it???
The AWS guy told us to use it freely, just a perk to having a call center in your city.

AWS DOESN'T EVEN HAVE AN EMERGENCY NUMBER, THEY ARE 24/7 ON THE SAME NUMBER YOU IDIOT!
THIS WAS AN AWS NUMBER FROM THE GET GO... NOT A CINGULAR NUMBER.
AWS was not a 24/7 location, each center is open from 7 am -2 am in each time zone for blue, OKC is a divested market, and they handle divested customers during the normal hours then Emergency calls for cingular.If you were actually good enough to have a corp. store you'd know that, like real employess would, so be a wanker, and wank off!

It's an emergency number, and guess what unless its an emergency they can't help, they have no systems to use, its just there in case of "emergency lost or stolen phone" so they can record it on a downtime form, but thats it, if you looking for anything more then that you are so S.O.L.!!!!!!!

If a customer with are code XXX from Tenessee activates service over the net with me and calls me to change their plan 2 months later, then I call the 405-602-7796 number and give them the area code XXX and number.
I CALL IN FOR THEM AND THEY WERE TAKEN CARE OF ON NUMEROUS OCCASSIONS

Admitting to either now or in the past an owner of a indirect dealer is not to be proud of.
You could get fired by the Company like cingular pulling your liscence to sell their service, which i know to have to certain dealers, of which i helped them lose their license die to their business prectices.

Fact of the matter is that I avaraged 15K per month NET.
I sold because I was offered a solid ammount of money, and I saw that the wireless retail market was on a downhill.
I sold my stores... so go ahead take it....lol
Considering AWS doesn't even exist in my market anymore it's not like taking it would of done you any good anyway. It was set to expire on May 15th, 2005 because of the merger.
