Ok I have a v400 that I got in augest 2004. I dont think it's ens capable and my brother lost his phone and he had a 64k sim. Now If I just give him my phone and buy a new one will the 64k sim in a non 64k sim function properly? I know that it will still work but will it result in weaker signal strength? Or could I put his phone number on my 32k sim and he can use my v400, while I buy a 64k sim and use it on a new cingular phone?
THANKS!!

OH P.S., My brother doesnt have insurance, so would they just make him pay full retail price for a new phone, or if he has a phone (my v400) will there be a fee? or just the purchase of the sim card? Sorry for so many questions!!

You wouldn't be able to move his number to your sim card. As for wether or not your phone is compatible with a 64k sim I would assume yes, but I would wait for someone from a store to get on and give you more info cuz I have never known any difference between the two.

Yeah you would be fine, he would just need a new SIM if his is lost, stolen or damaged.
