I have a weeks PTO which I requested so long ago that the only way they could get around it is by firing me, but I still wouldn't be working that week. Did you put in a request or just cross your fingers?

I requested it off. They decided to take volunteers for it, and I guess they didn't get enough volunteers because like 6 of us from my team got drafted for it. The latest shift ends at like 7:45 but it still sucks. I was gonna go hang out with Jackie. 😢

Yeah I guess I will be too. The paycheck will definately be nice and maybe I can get some work done on my car who knows.

oh. well then yes. i'll be working that day as well. i have to work sunday through thursday from 3pm till midnight. so i'll be here till memorial day is over.
