A lot of the recent threads have involved discussion of contract renewals, rate plan changes, and the question of when you become eligible for a new phone at discounted pricing. So I’ve decided to pontificate a little bit on this issue.

The claim that a contract would not be necessary if the carrier provided top-notch service is a compelling argument. And this is exactly how it works for many consumers. There are in fact thousands of customers at VZW and other carriers who are out of contract and quite satisfied with their service. For someone who doesn't work in the wireless industry, I think this is a brilliant explanation.

For any Cingy customers wise enough to choose a one year contract, I'd like to add that our policy on changing plans states that you can change it in the first half with no contract extension. So, anywhere in the first six months you can change your plan without a one year extension.

I work for a subsidiary of EMI. We advertise various music products nationwide on television.

Its not all that. I only work in Customer Service. Lately I have been thinking about a career change. I dont know what to switch though.

you can always join us here in the sales department! we get an hourly rate and then commission on top!

sounds good? yeah, if you can hit the outrageous benchmarks that they set for us. eh, it pays the bills anyways.

I am not a seller... I am a helper. I want to go to school to become something like a phamacologist or a interior decorator, but i am waiting for my inheritance. I dont want to work & go to school at the same time.

yeah, that's what i ended up doing. i got my inheritance when i turned 18 and i went to college on it, and i ended up at business school eventually. it's just a matter of finding the right career.

this is definitely not the right one for me, but i'll make do with it for now!
