Mystery shop question

disturbed1

Hi guys, this is for Cingular and Cingular agent sales reps only.

Does anyone know the EXACT minimum acceptable score for a Mystery Shop? I've heard both 80% and 85% and I'm a little confused. I work for an agent and we just got mystery shopped about a week ago. I was the rep that got shopped (surprise I was the only one here) and I scored an 87%. (Granted the f-in shopper wrote down that I didn't do some things that I KNOW I did, but still)

Well from what I hear that's an acceptable score, but now I'm getting written up for it being too low!!! WTF?

Can anyone tell me the minimum score so I can make my next employer understand why I left this place?

We are told 80% but I am a COR employee, you are an agent, correct? So your company might have different standards. 😕

I personally hold myself to 100%, my regional wants us at 90% or above but national said 80% and above... 😕

Our lowest score so far is 98, I truly understand where you come from on the 100 score.

Yeah I understand that different companies have different standards and all, but even if that's the case, if the Company doing the shopping says that it's an acceptable score (even got a hideously ugly orange backpack as a reward from our Cing. agent rep) why would you write up your employee for having an acceptable score?

I've been able to prove that the shopper filled out his form improperly (said I didn't give my name and get his when I have his name on the checklist). Yes, I was able to figure out who the shopper was and pull his checklist. So that 4 points back would give me a 91. Still room for a write up? My bosses think so.

I understand holding oneself to 100 considering we've got checklists and all, but frankly there are v...

I understand that... Don't get me wrong, but I am not the number cruncher in the office that has no clue what it is like to be in a store whom is telling you what score you have to get... I am just a rep like you that is stuck with the junk that they make us obide by. ☚ī¸

Yeah I know you get it, and I'm not taking it out on you. I just don't see where someone sitting in an office gets off disciplining someone (who tends to have the highest sales in the store by the way) for a score that's deemed acceptable by the company that actually gains from getting the customers. Meanwhile the rep that works for CINGULAR came by the store to congratulate/reward it. I'm getting mixed messages here.

I don't know...I think this is just the straw that's broken this camel's back.

I's tell them to shove it and find another job! That is totally wrong unless there is another side to the story.

have you tried going to your supervisor or manager, and asking why they are penalizing you, when the actually client thinks your score is good enough?

The standard you are held to is completely dependent on your reagion. In our reagion they want at least an 85%. Other factors include your district manager, your store manager, and your self. Example. Our Region requires at least an 85%, our DM wants at least a 90% our store manager wants nothing less than 95% and I shoot for 100%. The company minimum is 80% but again the rest of these factores play into how well you do.

I work for an agent and he is taking commissions for the employees scoring under 70%...so...that our goal...I've made two scores of 96 so far...
