Correct. ATTWS policy was that we NEVER give out Unlock codes for ANY reason. Therefor no one (Not even TSD) has access to them 😁

Thats right no one had them, and thats for good reason, imagine someone selling those unlock codes, plus the company was avoiding big problems, cuz say we (attws) gave out the codes, and if you put it in wrong it permantly locked them, imagine how many customers would mistakenly do it wrong and bitch over it.

Thats why the ONLY people who got them in the manufacturers, and they are UNDER CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION to not release them.

I have a question-I have a treo 600 from ATT as a former subscriber there. I am now a cingular customer-what do I need to do to "unlock" that ATT Treo so I can use it on Cingular? Thanks in advance!

We cannot do it for you. As a rep, we are encouraged to ask you to purchase new cingular equipment.

But outside of work, I would tell you to google it and see if you can find the unlock codes.

yes you would. if you unlock the phone, there are a lot of things that won't quite work the way they're supposed to, it'll avoid a major headache down the line if you just go ahead and get a new phone.
