I heard there were going to discontinue the s66!! thats one of the reasons why i chose the samsung

Samsung and LG would both be superior if they would include bluetooth and speakerphones with their phones. Especially LG. In my opinion LG could sweep the wireless market if they would get with the times and have bluetooth on their handsets.

LG would also sweep the market with EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY.....i have used a samsung with bluetooth, the D500, actually 2 of them....and its GREAT....stop thinking 1 dimensional and only in the cingular world 😁

Yeah but thats the only phone that I know of that has bluetooth and speakerphone that Samsung carries. I have to think one-worlded (i doubt thats a word) because I have Cingular so I am always thinking 800/850 not 900. Yes the d500 would work but not as efficiently as a phone with 800/850. The d500 is a beautiful phone and has everything I want in a phone (except speaker independent voice dialing). The best phone I have ever used (you guys will probably laugh at me) is the Moto v710 for Verizon. I loved that phone even with its crippled bluetooth. I hacked it so it wasnt crippled anymore. It had perfect bluetooth speaker independent voice dialing, transflash slot, megapixel camera, speakerphone, and nice large display. I wanted to try Cingul...

hmm. The p777 doesnt have speakerphone, or bluetooth, and the 1.3mp camera isnt that impressive if you acutally see the screen you are taking the picture on, its too small for the image quality they are portraying. i guess once you transfer the pictures they probably look alright, but i like to show my pictures to people, and the p777's screen is no better than taking a picture with the 6230. However, the flash on the phone is shockingly good, it will light up the whole room and the picture for the most part is pretty good. suck it up, buy the s710 and be happy you're getting the 2 inch screen, and a phone that actually feels like you are taking a digital picture with it.

Hahaha I just got rid of my s710a. I bought a Moto a780 which blows the s710a out the water. The picture quality is the same if not better, can view full html pages and none of that wap crap. The s710a interface is way to buggy and slow. I used to go to my calls list and try and call someone and it would take almost a minute for it to actually call. The bluetooth on it sucks too because it would drop my hbh-600 headset all the times. I would put the headset on make a call with it and hang up then try and make another call with it and it would be in my phone and not the headset. So instead of "sucking it up" like you mentioned I got rid of that sucky phone. If none of the above has happened to you yet, just wait.... 😈

anyway, our samsung rep was here and spoke about bluetooth for them in the future with us, i personally can't wait. The p207 will be in stores soon, it is already on our website.
personally, nokia makes the best phones if that is what you are looking for.

Yeah I like Nokias but hate the interface. Its so boring. I like being intrigued by a phone. I like the Sony Ericsson interface but it was so laggy and slow and that drove me crazy. Motorola has been the same since the first version of the v60 only now theyre in color. LG and Samsung have provided an interesting interface on all of their phones. Right now I am using a Motorola a780 smartphone which uses a Linux interface and let me tell you it is the best phone I have ever used and I have been through almost all of the top of the line phones in most of the carriers. But Im just scared that a nice LG or Samsung with Bluetooth is gonna come out and I am going to be tempted... 😳

There is a Samsung with Bluetooth... Oh I forgot the P777 comes with everything except bluetooth.

what LG phones are you using? LG's gsm phones are garbage. Cingular should not carry them anymore!

in comparison to other 1.3 megapixel cameras... just my opinion though 😕
