question about former ATT handset and current Cingular svc...

I have a question-I have a treo 600 from ATT as a former subscriber there. I am now a cingular customer-what do I need to do to "unlock" that ATT Treo so I can use it on Cingular? Thanks in advance!

You can get it unlocked from some website, att can't, but you will have lots of problems,see your phone was built to pick up your primary carrier, so that will only change to the cingular as your primary if it gets unlocked.The problem you will have is that you will run into the "classic" problem, see there are areas that are really strong on cingular orange side, and areas where cingular blue is stronger.

By using the "former att" device you will have access to one or the other but not bo...
