Nokia 6620 or 6230

Any thought on witch one is better. I like the 6230 but it don't have ringer ID and the 6620 does. I have the Sony s710a and it has the ringer ID and my wife loves that and she wants a new phone that had all the bells that the two nokia have but the 6230 don't have the ringer ID. Also why did Cingular take the 6230 of its website when the 6620 is older and still here. I know you can still get the 6230 from a Cingular store.

To your last question, because they were releasing the 6230 ENS. You also might want to check the features of the 6230 ENS to see if it will perform the features you desire above.

The 6620 is far different from the 6230, the 6620 is a symbian series 60 smartphone, while the 6230 runs one of nokias OS.

So that explains why Amazon.com is dumping the regular 6230 with a rebate program the nets you +$50 after all is said and done.

Very interesting!

I keep waiting and waiting for the next phone, and just when I'm ready to pounce I gotta wait for the next phone, and...

Well, according to Cingular distribution the 6230 ENS has just been released. The previous 6230 was not listed as ENS according to distribution.

I personally couldn't tell you since I had no real experience with the predecessor.

Why don't you just get your wife the S710A as well? It has everything the 6230 has and more. I would only get the 6620 if you absolutely need the Symbian operating system.

She like a bar phone, and she is kinda hard on a phone so I really dont want to put her in a $400 phone 🙄

My fear is that the 6620 functionality would be difficult for her to figure out if she is used to normal phone functionality.

Ok thanks. I may wait until the 6230i comes out since it has the push to talk.
